Remember

It’s way too easy to let the walls close in on you; before you know it you’re firmly trapped within the confines of your comfort zone and it’s really difficult to push back against it. I think it’s completely natural but it’s still a complete hindrance. Always push back. That’s why today I made a go of it, without another second thought. Hurrying down the esplanade ended up being a bigger journey than first thought, but man did it feel so good. Mistakes were made but that doesn’t matter now because the good will always outweigh the bad. It FEELS so good to be out, living again. I realise now I’d forgotten how that feels. The sun on my skin, the wind messing my hair up. This world we’ve inhabited is wonderful beyond compare; the trick is to get out there and make the best of it whilst we still can. Things can go sideways in a second sometimes, but so long as you push back against it it’ll work out in the end. Just remember to breathe, soak it all in and rejoice in the unexpected joy life can bring.
