Who am I?

From a young age I discovered the act of making things — whether that’d be hand-drawn books of interesting street lights or buildings, to making slot machines out of recycled cardboard boxes, to holding my own discos with close family where I would design the programmes, popcorn bags, tickets - and choreograph the lights, music and smoke machine. I got tireless of working in just one discipline and this is an attribute I’ve carried through to my adult years.

As I got older, my attention turned to the world of computers and technology. In my early teen years, I ran a decently-sized news and media website centred around The Sims franchise, as well as make lots of machinima movies using The Sims 2. In my mid-teen years I discovered the world of photography and took an interest in capturing nature and landscape photos in particular, as then editing these photos in a variety of subtle and major ways.

In 2018 I was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition that up-ended mostly everything I thought I knew about life. Despite it being an incredibly turbulent time, I found that focussing on my creative voice and keeping forward momentum – alongside support from close family - has helped me to remain centred on what matters most in my (in the grand scheme of things) relatively brief time on this Earth. I’m honestly just glad to still be here, doing things that allow my intrigue to prosper.

This work is my heart and soul. I sincerely hope you enjoy looking through it.
